The Travels and Discoveries of Pere Armand David.
Amand David was not only a 19th C missionary in China but also a naturalist and plant collector responsible for the introduction of many plant species to the western world.
Speaker: Mark Paviour, former Head Gardener of historically and botanically important gardens and arboreta in Hampshire, Cornwall and Powys.
Mark now runs a small nursery in Wigmore, specialising in South American and Chilean plants. A selection of plants will be on sale this evening.
